Shipping & Returns
Beauty In The Backcountry is currently offering $9 flat rate shipping within Canada, and $20 flat rate shipping to the US. Orders over $55 are eligible for free shipping. Any US duties and taxes incurred from cross-border shipping will payable by the customer on delivery, therefore we recommend that you inform yourself of the US customs policy.
Canada — $15 flat rate
USA — $20 flat rate
International – Dependant
Please allow 1-3 business days to process your order. Shipping time will depend on your location and whether you live in a major postal delivery area, but you can expect up to 9 business days for your order to arrive. We will notify you when your order ships with its tracking number so you can expect when it will be delivered.
Wrong Address/Undeliverable/Refused Package
If the customer is responsible for supplying an incorrect shipping address or the package is refused at the destination, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees.
While we take great care in packaging our items, sometimes things are handled a little differently than expected. In the event that a package arrives with damaged packaging or contents, please do the following immediately:
1) Take photos of the original packaging, being careful to document the damaged parts
2) Take photos of the damaged items
3) Contact us within 48 HOURS of receiving your damaged parcel.
These steps are necessary to ensure that your items are promptly replaced and that the issues can be rectified.
Returns & Exchange Policy
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot refund or accept returns on items that have been opened. Skin chemistry varies from person to person. If you have a history of sensitive skin or allergic reactions, please test any skincare product you purchase on a small area inside your wrist for 2-3 days prior to using. Although we use the purest and most gentle natural ingredients, Beauty In The Backcountry cannot guarantee that customers will not experience skin reactions, and cannot be held responsible should any occur.
If you have a concern about a product, please contact Beauty In The Backcountry within 1 WEEK of receiving your order, and we can work together towards a successful outcome. Please note that all shipping costs will be at the customer’s expense.

While we strive to ensure full enjoyment out of all of our products, if you are not happy with the quality of your order please contact Beauty In The Backcountry within 1 WEEK of receiving your order and we can work together towards a successful solution. It is valuable for us to know why you were not satisfied and how we could make a better our products for future enjoyment. All shipping costs will be at the customer's expense.
Refunds may be issued if Beauty In The Backcountry is at fault (incorrectly packed or faulty items). The refund will be made via the original method of payment used. We will notify you by e-mail when the refund has been processed. Please allow up to 14 DAYS for the credit to appear. If the funds do not appear please check with your bank first. In the unlikely event they are unable to assist you, please contact us so that we may fully investigate.
